Adinda Van Hemelrijck is an expert in designing for, evaluating, and learning about systemic impact in complex development contexts.
She is passionate about combining rigorous analytical work with participatory processes in mixed evaluation designs.
Adinda has a diverse background working in areas such as smallholder agriculture, rural finance, gender and empowerment, sustainable building, and more.
Her clients include UN agencies, INGOs, international research institutes, think tanks, and government development and evaluation departments.
She is the founder of Collaborative Impact and has spearheaded the design and piloting of PIALA (Participatory Impact Assessment & Learning Approach).
Adinda Van Hemelrijck holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology and International Relations from Ghent University, studied at Antwerp Management School, and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy at the Institute For Development Studies.
Currently, she serves as a Design and Evaluation Consultant at Collaborative Impact.
