Robert Vets

Robert Vets is a mission-focused engineer and manager with a proven track record in Research & Development, Design & Manufacturing, and Integration & Testing of complex mechanical and aerospace systems.

Robert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, also from Drexel University. He has additional studies in Business Administration and Management from Seattle University and has attended Code Fellows.

With a rich professional history, Robert has held key roles such as AV Sensors Group Lead at Cruise Automation, VPE/COO at MatterFab, Principal Engineer at Aerovets LLC/Avaliant, COO at Vires, Senior Project Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes' Innovation Center, Systems Engineering Manager at The Boeing Company, and various engineering roles at companies like OptiMEMS, STI Optronics, and General Motors.

Robert's expertise lies in driving innovation, leading high-impact projects, and successfully managing product development processes from conception to deployment. His diverse background allows him to navigate complex engineering challenges with a strategic and results-oriented approach.
