Maggie Louie is a Gulf Breeze High School graduate who has made a name for herself as a citizen of the internet, working towards advancing security software to protect modem freedom. Louie is also devoted to advocating for global sustainable clean water solutions.
Louie has a diverse background, having studied commercial art and music at Pensacola State College. She founded and serves as CEO of otto JavaScript Security, which aims to develop software that safeguards online privacy. She was also a Techstars Barclay London 2018 cohort participant and a WEF Technology Pioneer at World Economic Forum.
Prior to her current work, Louie held various roles at Morris Communications, including vice president of audience, and founded Spoon West Magazine. She served as Delta Records' national recording artist, and also worked for the Los Angeles Times and The E.W. Scripps Company in various digital, eCommerce, product, and publishing roles.
