The primary purpose of this remote position was to provide written content for a burgeoning film project. I provided supportive supplementary business documentation, promotional content, and marketing materials associated with the film project. A variety of technical and administrative tasks accompanied the project ranging from scheduling and purchasing to website content management. My time was split equally between these two functions.

As a Proofreader and Sales Planner at Kroger I performed a series of repetitive proofreading tasks using a methodical approach on a strict deadline. The work mostly involved checking prices and punctuation against a complex and rapidly changing database of current information. Ads were published weekly, proofread quickly, and submitted against high standards of quality for approval. The position also involved creating sales plans mapping out product placement across stores. I found the position relaxing. The position ended at its predetermined contract end.

The focus of the this position was to produce New Capital Enterprise business plans for use in the USCIS EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Each individual plan involved months of complex, extremely detailed research and writing to produce a roughly 300-page document designed to comply with the vague and ever-shifting government regulations of the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Of any position I have ever held this one required the most patience, dedication, mental fortitude, organizational skills, and determination to learn. Each new project represented learning the operations of an entirely new industry. The regulations governing what information was required in the plans changed or re-interpreted frequently. The very format the document was produced in was original to the industry and represented proprietary information. While the summary of tasks may seem simple and banal, the successful creation, submission, and acceptance of such documents along a strict and always shortening deadline is a near herculean feat.

This position had no official title, though I was frequently referred to as Employee Number One. I have selected the title I felt best represented my contributions. <a href="http://PlanetHospital.com">PlanetHospital.com</a> was an online medical tourism firm that started as a single, static page website then evolved into the most authoritative website on the subject at its time. In addition it provided a direct, safe and guided connection to credible overseas hospitals and doctors. It expanded from a staff of one to a staff of nearly fifty plus a network of hundreds of overseas medical professionals. In the early days of <a href="http://PlanetHospital.com">PlanetHospital.com</a> my responsibilities were limited to website content generation and correspondence with potential tourism clients. Towards the end of my tenure I participated heavily in the day-to-day executive functions of the business, frequently weighing in on critical decisions regarding company operations. Since my position involved such a wide variety of tasks and required the development of new skills daily, it is difficult to summarize my duties. I have provided highlights instead.

- Prepared documentation for legislative hearings on the medical tourism industry. Visited the West Virginia State Legislature to see those documents and presentations in use.
- Played a heavy role in the development and adoption of a proprietary client management software designed specifically for the unique needs of the Medical Tourism industry.
- Generated the earliest, most credible statistics used in the Medical Tourism industry through my own record keeping and data scouring. Those statistics were used in multiple media outlets from TIME Magazine to the book Beauty from Afar.
- Directed medical facility managers in Central America, Asia, and Europe. Educated them on the unique needs of American patients abroad including their cultural preferences unique needs as traveling medical patients.
