Bob Swan is a seasoned finance executive who served as CEO of Intel Corporation from January 2019 to February 2021. During his tenure, Swan oversaw the company's transformation into a multi-architecture XPU firm, leading to better strategic and financial positioning. Before Intel, Swan was the CFO of eBay for nine years, including during the spin-off of PayPal. Swan also served as the CFO of Electronic Data Systems Corp., TRW Inc., and Webvan Group Inc. He started his career at General Electric, where he held several senior finance roles during his 15-year tenure. Swan earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University at Buffalo and his MBA from Binghamton University.
Apart from his professional experience, Swan has also served on the boards of Applied Materials and eBay. He is currently an Operating Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a leading venture capital firm.
