Tiziano Barberi is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in academia and non-profit research. He has a strong background in Stem Cell, Cell and Developmental Biology, and is skilled in most Cell and Molecular Biology techniques. Barberi is an expert in Flow Cytometry and is currently the Head of a lab that focuses on Pluripotent Stem Cell Research.

Before joining Texas Biomedical Research Institute as a Principal Investigator, Barberi held various roles in prestigious institutions such as the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, The University of Melbourne, Monash University, and Beckman Research Institute at City of Hope. Additionally, Barberi has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
