Joan Gilbertson is an accomplished Senior News Producer with extensive experience in the broadcast media industry. With a strong background in field production, journalism, digital media, news writing, and editing, Joan has proven skills and expertise in delivering high-quality news programming to audiences.

Joan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied BA Journalism. She then went on to work in various roles, including News Producer at CBS News, Reporter/Producer at WKOW-TV, and Communications Specialist at MN Department of Natural Resources.

Joan has also served on the board of the MN Society of Professional Journalists as an SPJ Board Member and worked as the Senior Producer for "Health Diary" for Twin Cities Public Television. Currently, Joan holds the position of Sr. News Producer at WCCO-TV.
