Adam Cooley is a veteran network engineer with over 12 years of experience in the industry. He has a vast knowledge of the virtualization and networking scene and takes pride in utilizing cutting-edge software and equipment to create the perfect foundations for businesses. Adam has a Bachelor of Science degree from Kirkwood Community College and has worked with numerous reputable organizations throughout his career.
Having served as a Senior Network Engineer at Meta and a lead Systems Engineer at Juniper Networks, Adam's expertise is in Junos, Cisco IOS, Python, Flask, Django, PHP, MPLS technologies, multicast, IPv4 and IPv6 networking, secure enterprise VPNs, and remote access solutions. He has also had experience working with a breadth of equipment types: including Cisco and Foundry BigIron switching, network firewalls such as Cisco PIX and ASA, carrier-grade routers like 7600, and Juniper enterprise equipment such as J/M/MX/EX/SRX.
In his spare time, Adam is an avid golfer and softball player, and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest technology trends. His current passions include working with VMWare technology and finding new and innovative ways to set up new core backbone links and configuring data center equipment. Additionally, he loves spending time with his family and volunteering at his former workplace, the Beza Foundation.
