Vestigial Year was a monthly literature and arts magazine. The layout and production was done entirely by me with all editing and work selections done by my good friend David Pozo. Working in this small team proved to be difficult, but highly rewarding with each new issue growing in impressions, submissions, and reads.

The first 4 issues the magazine had:

750 complete reads, and 3,457 impressions.
Which means that 21% of readers want to take the average of 8 minutes and 53 seconds every month to read the issues cover to cover.
And another 70%+ spend at least 3 minutes on average reading some of it.

These statistics far surpassed our expectations for our two person operation. Only $7.12 was spent on Facebook advertising for the magazine. Almost all of our readership came from social media outreach and word of mouth.

At HJMT I worked with the digital media production of podcasts, video podcasts, client videos, print design, web design, social media design, and social media video production. I developed pitches for the media, wrote for releases, blogging platforms and micro-blogging platforms. My position extended to event planning for the NY Tri Expo 2016.

At Hume Lake New England, I lived with campers for 6 weeks. During my stay I guided campers between the ages of 8 and 18. During the day I was in charge of running the paintball course, this included the maintenance, and assembly of the paintball course and all of it's equipment, as well as the planning and operation of paintball activities, requiring me to manage the safety and organization of campers on the paintball course.

At Greenwood Trails I photographed, filmed, and lead campers for the entirety of the summer. Photos were to be shot, edited, and uploaded every day in 24 hour intervals. Videos were to be transferred to a separate videographer. I lived in the oldest boys cabin, and helped run high ropes and other activities when needed.
