Martin Klopper is a highly experienced urban and regional planner with over 18 years of expertise in strategic and statutory planning, economic development, housing projects, stakeholder and community consultation. His experience spans across the private and public sectors, and he has a passion for policy development that results in tangible on-the-ground outcomes. Martin's interests and experience lie in working with cross-cultural contexts and marginalized communities. He holds a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Free State and a Certificate in Community Consultation through the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2). He is currently the Director of Communications and Engagement, QLD/NT at Elton Consulting. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Project Manager, Manager, and Remote Industry Development Manager in Northern Territory Government, Department of Business and Employment, and a Senior Planner in Northern Territory Government, Department of Lands and Planning. Martin also previously worked as an Associate Director, Project Director, and Senior Project Manager, Victoria at Elton Consulting.
