I teach the Com-230-05 Communicaton Skills courses. Proper communication skills are an absolute necessity in today’s world. Students will gain experience, understanding, and an appreciation for the dynamic nature of the communication process in both formal and informal settings. This class will cover such topics as the study of interpersonal communications, listening techniques, and intercultural and gender communication skills. Students will prepare and deliver oral presentations which include the study of audience characteristics, research preparation skills, quality message composition, compelling content, and effective delivery.
