Sunil Sharma is a prominent figure in the Canadian startup ecosystem. With diverse professional experiences ranging from being a Canadian diplomat to a managing director of Techstars Toronto, Sunil is known for his ability to connect people and resources to drive entrepreneurship in Canada. He is also the co-host of the Collision conference, one of North America's largest tech conferences. Sunil was a former partner at Extreme Venture Partners where he led over 30 investments, and the Managing Director of Extreme Accelerator - part of a global network of accelerators that focused on startups with a mission to explore and innovate. Prior to that, Sunil was the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Communitech, and a co-founder of Extreme Startups, which is now called HIGHLINE. Sunil is also the Director of the Founder Institute, which has launched over 200 new startups in Toronto and Waterloo. Sunil holds a Master's degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Victoria.
