Troy Walton

Troy Walton is a highly accomplished professional with a background in Biochemistry. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and his BS in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Troy has held various key positions at Beyond Meat, a prominent plant-based meat company. He currently serves as the VP of Protein Research & Technology, where he leads the research and development efforts. Prior to this role, he was the VP of Commercialization, overseeing the successful launch of new products into the market. Additionally, he has served as the Vice President of Plant Protein Research, Director of Process Development, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II at Beyond Meat.

Before joining Beyond Meat, Troy gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at HHMI/Caltech and as a Scientist at Biosearch Technologies.

His extensive experience in protein research, technology development, commercialization, and process development make him a valuable asset in the plant-based food industry.
