Linda Raftree is an independent consultant with a focus on using technology and digital data for ethical purposes in the domains of international development, humanitarian work, and social impact programs. She has vast experience in advising organizations such as WHO, CARE, Humanity United, Catholic Relief Services, USAID, and the Rockefeller Foundation on responsible data principles, policies, guidelines, and practices. Linda is the founder of Linda Raftree LLC and has previously worked in several prominent roles in different organizations such as the Senior Advisor at Plan USA, Special Advisor at the Rockefeller Foundation, and Consultant at UNICEF. Linda is a CIPP and CIPM certified professional and a member of various groups such as the World Economic Forum's Expert Advisors Group on Technology and Social Justice and the American Evaluation Association's Technical Interest Group on Integrating Technology in Evaluation. Additionally, she is the organizer of MERL Tech conferences, which bring together different disciplines to discuss and learn how technology and monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning efforts intersect.
