ITV is a FTSE 100 Media Company in London. As their first Chief Data Officer, I got Data off the ground, assembling an amazing A team that created 4 main types of business value:
- Strategic alignment: reviewed key metrics and objectives for digital business
- Agility: Re-geared analytics function to drive quick feedback loops for business (changed operating model, piloted new self serve solutions, reviewed testing framework)
- AI- optimization : Embedded AI into products - launched first ever in-product personalization algorithm, piloted video tagging and micro targeting of marketing activity, delivered first holistic econometric model to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness
- New product lines: developed strategy and pipeline for Data-powered advertising products and measurement solutions, piloted new products with clients while scaling capabilities

Laid foundations to unlock full potential in the long term:
- Developed Data Strategy and secured budget and support both at C-level and at Board-level
- Assembled world-class team of A players
- Worked closely with Tech to shape the vision for a scaled up, unified Data platform and a new data quality function
