Kyle Lemle
Kyle Lemle, a forestry expert and climate organizer, has spent over a decade promoting the power of forests to mitigate climate change, enhance biodiversity, and secure indigenous land rights. With a Master of Forestry from Yale and a B.A. in Environmental and International Development Studies from Brown, Kyle has managed community forestry schemes in the Himalayas as well as San Francisco's urban forests.
Kyle is a Spiritual Ecology fellow, a Kerry fellow, and a Wyss Scholar for Conservation in the American West. He is committed to elevating natural climate solutions, international climate justice, and faith-based climate activism. Kyle is also a musician and the founder of Thrive Choir, which performs music to inspire change.
Kyle's rich experience includes serving as a policy fellow for the US Climate Alliance, The Nature Conservancy, and NRDC. He has also worked as a consultant for Yale Law and lead distributed organizing at GreenFaith. Kyle's innovative approach to environmentalism has drawn international attention, including as a delegate to COP23, a US People's Delegate, and a SustainUS youth delegate.
