Daniel Certner is a seasoned software engineer, manager, and leader with a decade-plus experience in the field. He is widely known for his expertise in data-driven decision making, developing scalable solutions, and tackling complex problems. His career began with his studies at Morristown High School and later pursued a BA in Spanish & European Studies and Economics Markets & Management at Duke University. Certner has held several positions in engineering, analytics, and risk management at Facebook, where he gained valuable experience in technical leadership and managing complex software development projects. Daniel is currently the SVP of Engineering at Namely, where he leads a team of over 100 engineers helping shape the future of HR and People Operations Technology. He has also held different leadership roles at Namely, including VP and Director of Engineering. Certner is a former Founder of Sabi Sushi, LLC and has also interned at Prudential Financial and Merrill Lynch.
