James Leiman

James Leiman is a transformative leader and change agent with a successful track record of leading organizational overhauls and public startups over the past decade.

Before transitioning into his current career path, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing the third largest federal logistics and supply chain network outside of the Department of Defense.

James has also been involved in several global Intelligence Community initiatives in Southwest Asia and Latin America, showcasing his diverse expertise.

As a proud veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, James Leiman brings a unique perspective and dedication to his work.

His extensive experience includes teaching business and National Security courses at esteemed institutions such as the Universities of Texas and Minnesota, as well as the New Jersey system.

Apart from his academic and military background, James is involved in the real estate sector with ownership of two residential property companies.

James Leiman holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transportation and Logistics from North Dakota State University, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and expertise in the field.

Furthermore, he has pursued Graduate Certificate studies in Identity and Access Management at the Naval Postgraduate School, adding to his skill set and knowledge.

His educational journey also includes a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from The Evergreen State College and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science/ Economics from Pacific Lutheran University, highlighting his multidisciplinary approach to leadership.

Within various organizations, James Leiman has held key positions, including Commissioner at the NORTH DAKOTA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE and Director of Economic Development and Finance within the same department, demonstrating his involvement in shaping economic strategies.

He has also served as the City Administrator at the City of Ada, showcasing his commitment to local governance and community development.

With prior roles such as Chief, Integration and Synchronization at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Senior Program Analyst at USDA, Identity Intelligence Analyst at the U.S. Coast Guard, Chief of Special Operations Division at the U.S. Department of State, and Intelligence Specialist in the United States Air Force, James's career spans across various sectors, emphasizing his adaptability and expertise in diverse environments.

Having served as an Intelligence Sergeant in the US Army, James Leiman's military background adds a layer of discipline and strategic thinking to his professional endeavors.
