Luiz Alberto Barberini is a highly experienced professional in the fields of Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Demand Planning. With over 25 years of industry knowledge, he has managed multidisciplinary and international teams across Brazil, Latin America, and the United States. His expertise lies in the whole S&OP process, managing demand planning, customized tool design, and supply chain organization projects' implementation. He has also worked with several pharmaceutical and consumer companies and managed 3PL contracts. As a former teacher for post-graduation schools, he has solid team management skills, customer service relationship and management, and negotiation 3PL contracts.

At present, he works as External Manufacturing Operations Manager Latin America at Bayer; his primary responsibility is to oversee his team of external partners for the CHC Division. Prior to this, he served as a Relationship Associate Director at Merck, Logistics Manager at Takeda/Nycomed Pharma, and Pfizer's Logistic Manager. He has also served as EFD's Supply Chain Manager and Rhodia's Logistics Supervisor.

Barberini's educational qualifications include an MBA in Administration from Instituto Maua de tecnologia, Especialização in Logistics from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Maua.
