With a Ph.D. in Physics from RWTH Aachen University, Bernd has held several leadership positions throughout his career, including Vice President, Head Global Development at Ottobock and Vice President, Head of Development Europe Diabetes Care at Roche Diagnostics.

Bernd's expertise lies in profitable company development through innovation implementation, market launch of new products, due diligence for equity investments and acquisitions, foundation and development of new business segments, restructurings, and building of new development organizations. He has successfully developed and launched over ten innovative products for medically regulated and non-regulated environments for different markets and customers.
