Chris Watts is a renowned leader in the field of sports, fitness, and urban planning. With a degree in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Social Responsibility from The George Washington University, Chris has been making significant contributions to these fields for years.

Starting his career as a transportation analyst at Kimley-Horn, he explored the intersection of profit and purpose as a social entrepreneur with 4POINT4. He served in the Obama Administration from 2010 to 2014, where he led partnerships with various stakeholders for the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition in support of Michelle Obama's Let's Move! Initiative. Chris was also the Executive Director of the congressionally chartered National Fitness Foundation, developing a unique public-private model and pioneering new strategies that delivered millions of dollars to support youth fitness efforts in thousands of schools across the country. Currently, he is the Vice President of Mobility at the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, responsible for leading urban planning initiatives and implementing innovative projects that make Downtown Pittsburgh a more active, engaging, and accessible place to live, work, and play.

Recognized by the Aspen Institute as a Spotlight Health Scholar, Forbes Magazine as a 30 under 30, and the World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper, Chris is an accomplished leader who builds partnerships to solve problems. He has also served as adjunct faculty at Georgetown University and an advisor at the Global Impact Institute. Chris is currently advising local nonprofits with Social Venture Partners Pittsburgh.
