Katie Mehnert is the Founder and CEO of ALLY Energy™, a community focused on driving an equitable energy transition by accelerating connections, jobs, and skills.

She held leadership roles at Shell and BP in safety and environment, leading her to entrepreneurship to address talent shortage and workforce diversity in energy.

Katie is a prominent figure globally, featured in Forbes, Scientific American, CNN, and more. She authored 'Grow with the Flow' and a children's book. She appeared in the documentary 'Hot Money' and the pilot 'Dirty Nasty People'.

In 2019, she testified before Congress on the clean energy workforce and was appointed an Ambassador to the US Department of Energy. She is also associated with the National Petroleum Council and Texas State Forward Party.

Katie is an Energy Institute Fellow, advisor to Clean Energy for America, LSU graduate, and a marathoner. She resides in Houston with her husband and daughter.
