Jim Hirschfield is an accomplished sculptor, art educator, and Kenan Distinguished Professor who resides in the United States. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute and a Master of Fine Arts in Fine Arts, Sculpture from the University of Oregon. Jim has produced a significant body of work in collaboration with Sonya Ishii, under their joint venture Jim Hirschfield & Sonya Ishii. He has also served as an Artist and Kenan Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jim is recognized for his innovative approach to sculpting and has exhibited his works both nationally and internationally. His expertise in sculpture has been a valuable asset to the art community.
