Senior Software Engineer

- Developed features across the Twitter Health ecosystem using React, Enzyme, Testing Library, GraphQL, Redux, Relay, and internal Twitter tools.
- Contributed to the Twitter web community by writing technical documentation, doing presentations on projects, and participating in the accessibility group
- Mentored junior, backend, and full-stack developers who were beginning to contribute to the Twitter web codebase through pairing sessions, code reviews, and 1:1s

Twitter

- Developed the REI Cedar design system libraries, working with Figma, Vue.js, Node, Webpack, Rollup, SASS, LESS, Jest, JSX, Spring, and other internal REI tooling
- Fully owned the development, QA and release cycle for the Cedar Vue.js component library, design token libraries, and doc site
- Collaborated with digital and IT teams to integrate the Cedar design system into their codebases and make improvements to accessibility and performance

- Developed front-end customer facing pages for REI Experiences projects using Vue.js, Webpack, Rollup, Node, SASS, and various internal front-end tools.
- Worked with the REI search team to index REI travel and events content in order to create new search experiences for both platforms
- Improved the accessibility and performance of REI Experiences pages

Software Engineer

- Developed front-end code for the Amazon Restaurants consumer experience using jQuery, JSP, Handlebars, Sass, and internal Amazon tools. Emphasized accessibility, scalability, cross-browser support, and backwards compatibility in all projects.
- Worked with other teams within the Restaurants department and across Amazon to integrate with existing services and deploy features in a variety of channels including the Amazon homepage, mobile apps, and marketing emails.
- Wrote a collection of shell scripts that automated and optimized our asset compilation process, which made our front-end development faster and less tedious.

- Monsoon was acquired by Capital One, I joined the Level Money team working on an API that served over a million users. 
- Refactored code and improved test coverage on a large microservice-based Clojure
codebase
- Provisioned resources and managed deployments for our application through AWS
- Set up a continuous integration system using CircleCI alongside a private Jenkins
box, with a Slack bot relaying failure messages directly to those responsible for
them
- Worked closely with support staff to conduct a full redesign of our customer
support interface using jQuery and Bootstrap

Capital One

- Developed web applications for clients using Ruby on Rails, Ember, Node.js, and
Bootstrap. Employed test-driven development, continuous integration, and agile
practices on every project
- Built a mapping app for community organizers using Leaflet and Open
Street Map
- Created a project management tool for accountants that used Highcharts to display
data. Designed and implemented a subscription service using Stripe for payment
processing and Pundit to authorize access to different levels of the application
- Contributed to a corporate communications auditing app that runs on Bloomberg
terminals which used D3.js to provide overviews of the auditors organization
