Global Director of Finance

Pat joined Cloud Sherpas in 2012 and served as Controller for its ServiceNow business unit until Accenture’s acquisition of Cloud Sherpas in 2015. During this time he increased the focus revenue and margin drivers by region and improved forecasting processes. He is currently responsible for business operations supporting the ServiceNow platform within Accenture Operations including monthly operational reporting, profitability analysis and client data protection.

At MaxLinear Pat was responsible for accounting, SEC reporting, risk management, stock administration, IT and facilities.   He was heavily involved in the successful completion of the company’s IPO in 2010.  Pat introduced various processes to support the company's public company compliance requirements and worked closely with outside advisors to develop the company’s worldwide tax strategy.

Chief Accounting Officer and Controller

Pat joined RAD in anticipation of the company’s acquisition of another electronic manufacturing services business.  He worked closely with the company’s CEO in meeting with various potential lenders and investors.  Due to the difficult economic and credit climate, however, the acquisition was not completed and, instead, RAD sold the majority of its operating assets.  Pat served as the primary interface with the acquiring entity to ensure that the sale was completed in a timely manner and negotiated compromise agreements with major creditors.

Chief Financial Officer

At Channell Pat’s primary responsibilities were SEC reporting, financial planning, treasury, IT and the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley implementation.  His major accomplishments were improving the timeliness of the company’s SEC reporting as well as improving the financial leadership and reporting at a major Australian subsidiary.  In addition, he renegotiated debt agreements in the US and Australia to provide increased liquidity.   He also reduced interest expense in the US by converting the debt from prime rate to LIBOR.

Pat joined Pulse Engineering as Treasurer prior to the company’s IPO.  He was subsequently promoted to Corporate Controller and became the Acting CFO in 1994.  Pat’s primary responsibilities during this period were SEC reporting, financial planning, cost accounting and risk management.  His major accomplishment was increasing the accuracy of the company’s standard cost structure.

When Pulse was acquired by Technitrol in 1995 he was promoted to Vice President Finance.  Over the next eleven years the company grew from less than $100 million to over $500 million.  During this time Pat was involved in the due diligence and integration of eight international acquisitions.  Ultimately, he supervised a worldwide finance staff of more than 100 with direct reports in seven countries.  Pat’s most significant contributions included the transfer of European finance activities to Singapore, working with an external statistics expert to develop a revenue forecasting tool, improving credit management through the use of date warehouse application and developing a transfer price matrix to reduce the company’s effective tax rate.
