Linh Richardson is a professional with a diverse background, starting from humble beginnings and growing into an accomplished individual with experience across various sectors. Coming from a family of Vietnamese boat people, Linh learned the value of hard work and determination early on while assisting at her parents' restaurant. This experience laid the foundation for her problem-solving skills and ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Having earned a double degree in Law and Commerce with a focus on Accounting & Finance from The University of Western Australia, Linh embarked on a corporate career at Poynton & Partners, a Management Consultancy firm. Her role involved working on significant strategy projects primarily in the Mining and IT sectors. Subsequently, she transitioned to London, where she contributed her expertise in Corporate Finance at KPMG and undertook contractor positions at esteemed Private Equity firms including Terra Firma and Triton Partners.

Continuing her professional journey, Linh joined Pragma Consulting, a management consultancy firm specializing in the retail sector. Her dedication and strategic insights led to her promotion as a Director within a few years. At Pragma, Linh engaged with prominent European retail brands, focusing on consumer-based strategy projects and conducting Commercial Due Diligence for Private Equity firms, showcasing her versatile skill set and industry knowledge.

In 2012, Linh ventured to the USA, where she managed to balance her career aspirations with family responsibilities, deciding to launch her business, Yumma Meals LLC, which offered subscription-based meal delivery services for children. Despite achieving positive growth and cash flow within the first year, Linh made the difficult choice to close the business upon relocating to Australia in 2019.

Currently, Linh Richardson is actively seeking a full-time role in the climate-tech sector while remaining open to taking on fixed-term projects. Her background not only showcases her expertise in management consulting, finance, and entrepreneurship but also reflects her adaptability and resilience in navigating diverse environments and career transitions. Linh's participation as a Spring22 Fellow at Startmate has further enriched her network within the startup community, and she looks forward to continued connections and collaborations in this space.
