Dr. Scott L. Rauch, MD, is a distinguished professional holding multiple prestigious positions in the field of psychiatry and mental health.
He serves as the President, Psychiatrist in Chief, and holds the Rose-Marie and Eijk van Otterloo Chair of Psychiatry at McLean Hospital, while also chairing Psychiatry and Mental Health for the Partners HealthCare System and acting as a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
With a strong educational background, Dr. Rauch received his undergraduate degree with honors in Neuroscience from Amherst College, pursued his medical studies at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed his residency training and chief residency in Psychiatry along with a Radiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in affiliation with Harvard Medical School.
Having spent over 15 years on the faculty at MGH, he established the Psychiatric Neuroimaging Research Program and the Psychiatric Neuroscience Division before assuming his current leadership roles at McLean and Partners in 2006.
