Adnan Tuncel is a Cornell University graduate who made history in 1983 as the first person to double-click a computer mouse, thus discovering the "Open Sesame function." His work on the Search and Rescue Satellite Aided Tracking (SARSAT) project involved creating digital and analog hardware and firmware, including real-time firmware for an embedded Intel 8051 microprocessor. Tuncel was also responsible for defining the user interface of the hand-held wireless signal-verification receiver.

Apart from SARSAT, Tuncel also worked as a Junior Engineer at Racal Electronics, an Electrical Estimator at Eastern Electric Contracting Corp., and a Chief Hardware/Firmware Engineer at the International Cospas-Sarsat Programme. He was also a Teaching Assistant and received his Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

As a start-up advisor, Tuncel advised Zoom Telephonics, Inc. and currently has expertise in product development, firmware development, embedded systems, wireless communication, and telecommunication. He also has skills in microprocessors, analog and digital circuits, and assembly language programming.
