Jacob Shea is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software architecture, technology, and marketing. Having spent 25 years in software architecture and development, he has played pivotal leadership roles in technology and marketing advisory for numerous brands ranging from digital agencies to small start-ups to some of the largest global corporations. He is particularly passionate about the intersection of technology, marketing, and business and has acquired the skills to create, deploy, and maintain state-of-the-art solutions according to top-level standards. With a unique understanding of product development, he blends strategic planning, brand strategy & positioning, and product marketing into creating integrated marketing campaigns that deliver results. Jacob has held management positions at top corporations such as Dell Computers, Qualcomm, Pixar, and NFL, among many others. He is currently an advisor and consultant to brands and early growth-stage companies, as a Partner at Structure Capital venture fund. Jacob is also an avid mechanical engineer who studied at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has an MBA from Columbia Business School and Haas School of Business. Additionally, He is an astute entrepreneur and co-founded the JHG Digital Agency in 2006, which sold four years later.
