Michael Gay is a seasoned digital media leader with a remarkable track record of success over 20 years. After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunication at Michigan State University, he quickly began his career, rising to leadership positions at some of the biggest media organizations in the United States. Gay has led teams that have generated billions of page views and millions of dollars in local revenue. As the General Manager of Digital for Weigel Broadcasting, Gay leads the company's digital media strategy and management of national networks and local media properties. His passion for media's role in informing and entertaining audiences with new technologies that engage on any device or schedule is unmatched. Gay most recently served as Vice President of Content for Inform, where he managed relationships with C-level executives at major media organizations and was responsible for business development and contract renewal with over 1500 local television and radio stations.
Before working at Inform, Gay also held leadership positions with Hearst Television and the CBS Television Stations group in Chicago. His notable accomplishments include launching the acclaimed Radio League app and national websites NowTrending.com and NashvilleEdge.com during his tenure as Vice President of Interactive for Journal Broadcast Group. Gay also studied at Full Sail University and received a Master of Science in Internet Marketing.
