John Law is an experienced strategic product executive with 20 years in the industry. He is an innovative and dynamic leader with a particular focus on user-centric product portfolios and data-intensive applications. His full-spectrum experience in product leadership makes him adept at articulating strategic goals, recruiting top talent, cultivating partnerships, and executing disciplined go-to-market strategies. John brings to the table expertise in Lean Startup, public speaking, business cases, cloud computing, analytics, product management, agile development, and more.

John holds a degree in Systems Engineering with a computer science minor from Michigan State University. He also pursued a Masters in Engineering with MBA coursework at Columbia University in the City of New York. He is currently the VP Products & Partnerships at S&P Global, and his previous roles include Vice President, Commercial Management at IHS Markit Engineering & Product Design, Senior Vice President of Product Management for SaaS Products & Platforms at EBSCO Information Services, and Vice President, Enterprise Product Strategy at ProQuest, among others.

Outside of work, John has interests in health, fitness, nutrition, mountaineering, surfing, snowboarding, and triathlons. John shares his expertise by being a guest lecturer at the Product School.
