Karina Vanderbilt is a dynamic and accomplished educator with a wealth of experience in teaching, leadership, and program management. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in History and Spanish from Occidental College. As the Director of Multilingual Services at Puget Sound Education Service District, Karina leads the team in providing language support and resources to diverse communities. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Principal at Highline School District and Green Dot Public Schools, where she helped implement effective policies and initiatives to improve student outcomes. Karina also taught at the Mandela International Magnet School and Santa Fe Public Schools as an Assistant Principal and 7th Grade Humanities Teacher. Her passion for education extends beyond the classroom, as she previously worked as a Program Policy Manager at the New Mexico Public Education Department, where she helped shape education policy at the state level. Before that, she was a High School Social Studies Teacher at Gallup-McKinley County Schools. Her extensive background in education and leadership makes her a valuable asset to any organization she collaborates with.
