Sushma Raman

Sushma Raman is a prominent figure in the human rights policy landscape, with an impressive academic background and extensive professional experience. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Smith College, and went on to pursue a Masters in African Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Raman has also held various positions at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, the Ford Foundation, and the Open Society Institute, among others. Her expertise lies in leadership and management, and she has lectured at several universities and contributed articles to publications such as Foreign Policy. Currently, Raman serves as Executive Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.
