Amy Jenkins is an accomplished educator with a background in TESOL and theater. She studied at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Morningside College, earning an MA in TESOL and a BS in theater. She has worked with various organizations, including Peace Corps, Park University, San Mateo County Community College District, FHI 360, and the US Department of State, where she served as Senior Program Officer for the E-Teacher Scholarship Program. Amy's expertise in TESOL has led her to work with students from all over the world, including Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, and Myanmar. Her experience in theater has also allowed her to craft creative and engaging lessons for language learners. She is passionate about educational equity and has worked in various roles as an educator, coordinator, and program specialist.
