Jessica Eastman Stewart is a dedicated leader in the education sector. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked tirelessly to ensure educational equity for students, partnering with parents, educators, and community allies to win policy advocacy and political campaigns. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University and was the President and Co-Founder of the Alabama College Democrats State Federation and Auburn College Democrats.

Having been recognized as the Alameda/Contra Costa County Math Teacher of the Year early in her career, she went on to work with Teach For America and play a founding role in creating GO Public Schools. She has served as the Executive Director, Oakland and Senior Managing Director (Statewide Team) at GO Public Schools. She has also held positions as the Director of Teaching and Learning at Teach for America, and the Operations & Development Director & Classroom Teacher at Oakland Unified School District.

Jessica is a values-driven leader, staying grounded in her values of justice, joy, serenity, community, and accomplishment. She is an alumna of the New Leaders Council Fellowship, Leadership Oakland, and the PIE Network Leadership Institute.
