Derrick Carr is a Senior Software Engineer at ActBlue Technical Services, as well as a former Team Lead at thoughtbot. He holds a B.A. in African American Studies from Yale University and received training in Full Stack Web Development and Software Development from Dev Bootcamp. With a passion for exploring the intersection of culture and technology, Derrick is interested in using his skills to empower small communities, improve education, and promote art.

Additionally, he has experience with written content creation and is an avid reader and writer.
