Cris James Simonds has been an insurance specialist for over three decades, starting his career with Crum Forster Insurance Companies as an underwriter. Later, he worked as a sales and marketing representative at Mass. Mutual before co-founding and becoming the principal of Arroyo Insurance Services. The company, established in 1983, has grown to become one of California's largest insurance brokers with ten branches throughout the state and one in Honolulu, Hawaii. Arroyo Insurance Services is known for its independently-owned, client-oriented approach to business, and for understanding and promptly responding to clients' needs. Simonds studied at the Healthcare Reform Center and Policy Institute and is a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist, as well as a graduate of the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Catalina Island School. He holds a C.R.I.S certification from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and a BA in Sociology and Economics from Sonoma State University, where he studied general studies.
