Giancarlo Yao is an accomplished finance and operations leader with extensive experience in the entertainment, media, and technology sectors. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University and his Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship from NYU Stern School of Business. Additionally, Giancarlo has studied International Finance at Murdoch University, Marketing at General Assembly, and completed courses at NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He also served as a Venture Fellow and Seed Fund at Launch Angels and is a former Mentor at First Round Fast Track.

In his previous roles, Giancarlo has held leadership positions with several high-growth start-ups, including Healthy Together and Insite Applications, LLC, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Operations. Additionally, he has worked with well-known brands such as Viacom and Universal Music Group in the roles of Director of Digital Finance and Operations and Manager of New Music Finance, respectively.
