Dr. Christoph Baumann is an experienced professional in international cooperation and policymaking, known for his impactful roles in various organizations and programs.

He has a proven track record in contributing to improved VET and employment policies and practices in Serbia through his position as director of a Swiss funded program from 2016 to 2019.

Dr. Baumann played an advisory role for WWF Switzerland during a successful national voting campaign for the Energy Strategy 2050 of Switzerland in 2017.

Prior to founding his own company, he held significant positions at Solidar Suisse, working as the country director in Southeast Europe and later as the Head of policy & research at the HQ, with notable achievements in strategy and policy design.

At Caritas Switzerland, he was instrumental in establishing the first public-private VET school in Kosovo while serving in an advisory capacity.

Dr. Baumann is an accomplished academic, having earned a PhD in geography from the University of Bamberg, Germany, focusing on economic and social developments in Albania and Southeast Europe.

He also holds an MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, where he received the B’VM Association Management Award in 2018 for his outstanding performance.

As a regular guest lecturer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zurich, he imparts knowledge on 'policy making in international cooperation.'
