Dusti Gurule is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over 16 years of experience in the industry. She has worked in volunteer and paid staff capacities and displays strong organizational and editing skills. Dusti is proficient in Windows and Internet navigation and is known for working effectively both independently and as a team member.
Dusti studied Chicano Studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver and later earned a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. She has held various leadership roles, including Executive Director at Latina Initiative, Program Manager at COLOR, and PODER Project Deputy Director at NEWSED Community Development Corporation.
In addition to her professional experience, Dusti has served as a Commissioner on the Denver Latino Commission and a board member of Colorado Conservation Voters Education Fund. She also worked as a Faculty Leadership Coach at the Center for Progressive. Dusti has a passion for nonprofit work, and her expertise includes fundraising, grant writing, program management, and strategic planning.
