He has worked at a range of organizations, including Independer and Omroep MAX, where he has held roles such as Senior Webmaster and Scrummaster. Boogaard is a graduate of Hogeschool van Utrecht, where he studied Communication and Media Design. He also holds an MBO in Technische Kantoor Automatisering from ROC Midden Nederland.
