Summary
Judit Folgueira, an accomplished International executive in the Biotech industry, has the perfect combination of strategic and operational experience combined with a successful career in translational research in Oncology with over a decade of experience. With a "Summa Cum Laude" PhD in Biology, Oncology and Cancer Biology from Universitat de Barcelona, and an MBA degree from Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business, specializing in Health Sector Management Certification, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Concentration, Folgueira is an excellent leader, entrepreneur, and innovator with a track record of building successful Biotech companies and creating innovative drugs. 
Judit is currently the VP of Operations and Corporate Affairs at Northern Biologics, a company focused on the discovery and development of first-in-class immuno-oncology agents to address the unmet needs of cancer patients. Before this, she served as the President of CataloniaBio & HealthTech, a non-profit organization that supports and promotes the BioHealth sector in Catalonia, where she was responsible for strategic planning, stakeholder management, and advocacy for company members across the region.
She's also a Co-Founder & General Manager at Mosaic Biomedicals, a preclinical Biotech company, where she is responsible for leading the development of therapeutic antibodies targeting cancer stem cells. Prior to her current positions, Judit served as an Associate on the Pipeline and Portfolio Planning Team at Genentech, where she was responsible for providing support in the development of a pipeline and portfolio strategy for the early-stage Biotech company.
Besides her exceptional work, Judit has served as a mentor at d·Health Barcelona (MOEBIO), an organization that accelerates entrepreneurship and innovation in Healthcare at Biocat, BioRegion of Catalonia, and as a board member at CataloniaBio & HealthTech. She's also a former Executive Committee member of the Rafael del Pino Alumni Association and has served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Ph.D. Student at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO).
