Nick Guthman is a highly accomplished progressive political organizer with a background in grassroots activism and campaign management. He has dedicated his career to promoting social and economic justice, fighting for climate action, and enhancing youth engagement in politics. With a strong educational foundation in Interdisciplinary Studies, Nick graduated magna cum laude from the renowned Politics, Policy, and Law Scholars Program at American University. During his time at AU, he also earned certificates in Advanced Leadership Studies and Political Campaign Management.

Nick's professional experience is quite diverse and extensive. He co-founded and currently serves as the Co-Executive Director of two prominent organizations, Blue Future and the Youth Progressive Action Catalyst. These organizations focus on mobilizing young people and fostering their leadership skills to bring about progressive change. Prior to his current roles, Nick was a Partner at Democracy Partners, where he contributed to innovative campaigns and initiatives aimed at advancing progressive causes.

Additionally, Nick has served as a Partner and Managing Director at Unfiltered.Media, a Fellow at Voqal, and the Deputy Field Director at Americans For Tax Fairness. His expertise in managing and organizing campaigns, along with his deep understanding of policy and government, has allowed him to make a substantial impact in promoting social equity and justice.

Nick's commitment to community service is also evident through his work as the President of AU College Democrats and as the Director of Community Service for the same organization. Moreover, he has worked as a Spring Fellow at Organizing for Action, further solidifying his experience in grassroots activism. Notably, he has interned at the National Immigrant Women's Advocacy Project (NIWAP), where he helped advocate for the rights of immigrant women.
