Mark Lewis, a seasoned commercial legal practitioner with over 35 years of experience, is one of the UK's leading experts in complex information technology, business process, managed services, shared services, sourcing, outsourcing, operations, digital transformation, and IT and outsourcing remediation projects. He specializes in advising on the deployment of advanced technologies, including cloud computing, digitisation, blockchain, AI, and RPA, and cyber-related issues.
Mark has worked with global, FTSE, and challenger financial services firms and fintech providers in the banking, insurance, and asset management industries, making him a go-to person for IT and outsourcing work in the financial services sector. His clients range from the largest global IT and business process service providers to early-stage niche technology companies.
Apart from advising FTSE 100-350 and other boards, Mark has also served supranational authorities, international and regional development organizations, governments, and non-governmental organizations. His visiting professorship at the London School of Economics & Political Science's Department of Law focuses on advanced technologies in the context of law, regulation, business, and society.
Mark's professional career has seen him hold top UK and global management roles in legal and professional services firms such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, where he was entrusted with founder, chair, and senior management positions in the associated UK law firms and global/international IT and outsourcing networks.
