Sterling Frierson is a seasoned fundraising and alumni relations professional with a rich background in higher education, boasting over 15 years of experience.

With a focus on major gift fundraising, team management, campaign planning, board management, and alumni/donor relations, Sterling has honed a diverse skill set in the field.

Sterling pursued further education to enhance his expertise, acquiring an Ed.S. in Education Administration from Tennessee State University, an M.S. in Sport Management from the United States Sports Academy, and a B.S. in Health & Exercise Science from Furman University.

Having held key positions in various prestigious organizations, Sterling has served as the Senior Director of Development at the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences at North Carolina State University.
