Santanu Pradhan

Santanu Pradhan is a seasoned IT professional with over two decades of experience in product innovation, software design and development, project management, and standard development. He has a vast experience in the Test&Measurement / Instrumentation domain and is currently working at Tektronix in various roles for over two decades, managing projects, performing technical leadership roles and involving in product development.

Pradhan has expertise in developing Test & Measurement Instrumentation software for Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter, Power Supply, Waveform/Function Generators, Frequency Counters, Spectral Analyzers, and various other T & M instruments. His innovative approaches and expertise in developing industry-standard instrument drivers such as IVI COM/C/.NET, and VXI Plug&Play drivers have helped Tektronix to offer superior solutions to their customers.

He is also skilled in OOPS, C/C++, VC++ (MFC) and undergoing mobile development like Android, ADK, iOS, Objective-C, Xcode, PhoneGap / Cordova etc. Additionally, Pradhan is proficient in scripting languages such as VB Script, Python, Perl, Java Script, MatLab, jQuery Mobile, and AngularJS. He is an expert in software estimation, cost estimation, risk management, Root Cause Analysis RCA/RCCM and Project Mgt/ MS Project, QT / C++ framework for cross-platform, software matrices, best practices, Agile / SCRUM development, Graphical programming with LabVIEW, Personal Software Process (PSP) and Team Software Process (TSP), People management, interface between Product Owner, Marketing, Support, and Engineering development team.

Pradhan has completed his MCA in Computer Science from IISIT at Utkal University and later pursued GMITE in General Management from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He has also done another Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Utkal University.

He has previously served as a Research Associate- GIS Programmer at IIT Bombay and currently working at Tektronix as a Software Architect. He has been a representative of Tektronix at IVI and LXI consortium, and he plays an active role in defining Instrument driver standards.
