Dr. Aasim Saeed, a healthcare entrepreneur, has an intersectional background in medicine, consulting, and healthcare policy, having worked for prestigious institutions like McKinsey, Harvard Kennedy School, and Duke University School of Medicine. Saeed laid the foundation of amenity.health, a healthcare startup that services health systems to provide tech-based membership programs designed to earn steady consumer loyalty. Before his entrepreneurial career, Saeed served as VP of Digital Health at BSWH for four years, where he managed an annual budget worth $40M. He has also been a health policy analyst at the City of Houston, an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, and a co-founder of Livewire, Inc. acquired by H&R Block.
Apart from his professional experience, Saeed is a proud Texas native with a passion for building things with his hands. He volunteers his time with the American Legion Texas Boys State program, imparting youth leadership and providing civic duty lessons. Saeed has studied at Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Kennedy School, where he goes for Winter IXP with Michael Porter on Health/Health Care Administration/Management. He holds a High School diploma from Santa Fe High School and a BA in Political Science from Rice University.
