Nick Turchak is a seasoned electrical energy consultant with extensive experience in grid-scale and distributed energy resource projects across North America, Europe, and Africa. He holds a Master's degree in Sustainability Management and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electronics Engineering with a Telecom major. Turchak is the co-founder and CEO of VAR.energy, a venture that delivers software, hardware, and data solutions geared towards sustainable energy production. He has also been the owner of ValueStack and the Director of Product Management at ZOLA Electric. Turchak's previous positions include Product Manager for Energy Services in the Americas at Enel X North America, Senior Program Manager at Geli, Energy Engineer, Technical Product Manager, Product, and Technical Lead in renewable energy firms, VP of Product at AdoTube, and the Client Services Manager for Viewdle. Additionally, he is interested in solar power, energy storage, and micro-grids, among other related fields.
