With a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University, Jan has a broad range of expertise that spans across various administrative roles at The University of Iowa's Belin-Blank Center, including Assistant Director for Student Services, adjunct faculty member, and student program administrator. She has also served as the Iowa and Midwest Regional Affiliate for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards at Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
