D. Barraza is a highly experienced product design manager with over 10 years of experience in creating and validating product assumptions. He has built B2B and customer-facing experiences on mobile and responsive platforms, making him a valuable design leader who can teach and support product managers and designers alike. His areas of expertise include accessibility, design systems, and identifying the need for iteration.

He is a UX educator, and he is passionate about his work in healthcare. He has achieved success in creating an App of the Day, leading the first Apple HealthKit and Health Records integration, and being named the Employee of the Year. D. Barraza is a native Angeleno and proudly Latinx.

D. Barraza received his B.A. magna cum laude in International Relations and German from the University of Southern California. He also studied MSc in English at The University of Edinburgh and Germanistik (German Studies) at The University of Freiburg.

D. Barraza has worked as the Sr. Manager of UX Design at Flyhomes and has worked in various roles at UCLA Extension, Mesh Communities, Inc., Vetted PetCare, Heal, General Assembly, Interactivism, Barraza XD, Morris Polich & Purdy LLP, KCET (PBS), and Hubdub.
